Basketball has been a part of who I am since I was five years old, and it has shaped not only the way I play the game but also the way I live my life. Growing up with two older brothers who loved the game meant I was constantly challenged to keep up, compete hard, and push myself past my limits. Those early years taught me how to be tough, both physically and mentally, and they built the foundation for the player I am today. From playing in driveways and gyms with them, I learned quickly that effort and determination matter more than anything, and that lesson has carried me through every stage of my basketball journey.

Along the way, I’ve had to overcome challenges that tested my strength in ways the scoreboard never could. Physically, I’ve had setbacks that made me question whether I could keep pushing, but every obstacle became an opportunity to prove my love for the game. Mentally, I’ve battled through moments of doubt, frustration, and pressure, but those moments have only made me stronger and more resilient. I’ve learned that basketball is as much about mindset as it is about skill, and each hardship has prepared me to face adversity with confidence and perseverance.

My faith as a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints has also played a huge role in my journey. It has grounded me in values like hard work, humility, service, and gratitude, and those qualities are things I strive to bring with me into every team I’m a part of. Basketball is more than just a game for me—it’s a way to grow as a leader, to lift up teammates, and to push myself to become better every single day, both on and off the court.

The game has been my passion for as long as I can remember, and the combination of my competitive spirit, my resilience through challenges, and my commitment to living with faith and purpose is what drives me to pursue basketball at the collegiate level. I know what it takes to dedicate myself fully, to give everything I have in practice, and to perform when the lights are on. My journey has been one of growth, persistence, and determination, and I am ready to bring that same energy, passion, and leadership to the next chapter of my career.
